The Cross-Country season continued this week, with Terra Nova pupils taking on a tough challenge on Thursday at the Sedbergh Rawthey Run. Despite cold, wet and muddy conditions, the children competed with determination and resilience throughout the day.
With 42 schools attending, Terra Nova was represented superbly at U11 and U13 level, in both the individual races and relay. It was a great day of competition, team spirit and personal challenge, with the entire squad treated to a beautiful sunset over the Cumbrian hills at the end of the day.
The season-ending meet at Giggleswick next week offers the pupils another opportunity to showcase over a term’s worth of commitment, dedication and rigorous training, often in the dark. We wish all of our runners well for their final race of the year.
