Reception and Year 1 pupils recently enjoyed an exciting and enriching trip to Manchester City, where they took part in a fun football session. The day offered a wonderful opportunity for the children to develop their skills while building confidence, teamwork and enthusiasm for sport.
Under the guidance of experienced coaches, the session began with warm-up activities before moving on to skill development. The children practised their dribbling, concentrating carefully as they weaved their way past mannequins. There was great determination on display, as well as balance and coordination as they worked towards scoring goals. The session concluded with a game, giving everyone the chance to put their new skills into action.
Throughout the day, the pupils were impeccably behaved and were a real credit to Terra Nova, representing the school beautifully both on and off the pitch. A fantastic experience that combined learning, teamwork and plenty of smiles.
