Just before the half-term break, our pupils enjoyed two exceptional sporting experiences hosted by Shrewsbury School — both of which perfectly captured the shared spirit, camaraderie, and ambition that connect our schools.
The first event was the Shrewsbury School Cross Country Championships, where Terra Nova’s runners rose admirably to the challenge. Against a field of strong competitors and across a demanding course, our athletes represented Terra Nova with pride, determination, and true sportsmanship. Particular congratulations go to Imogen, who finished 2nd in the U11 Girls’ race, and Sophia, who achieved an impressive 3rd place in the U13 Girls’ category.
Our Year 5 pupils also enjoyed an inspiring Sporting Experience Day, where they took part in masterclass sessions in Fives, Rowing and Cricket. With access to Shrewsbury’s outstanding facilities and expert coaching, the day offered a wonderful opportunity for our pupils to discover new challenges, build confidence, and deepen their love of sport.
We are hugely grateful to our colleagues at Shrewsbury School for their warm welcome and for providing such memorable opportunities for our pupils.
